We are excited to share a little Q&A fun with each of our featured Grotto Gallery artists for the "Escape the Madness" exhibit which runs through January 12th.
Each week we will be releasing a new installment - and today, we talk to Brian Lensink, from Phoenix Arizona.
You can also learn more about Brian in an earlier installment here: Meet Brian Lensink.
GG: The biggest art-repreneur challenge that you face currently?
Brian: Balancing the fun and rewarding creation of art with the marketing and exposure efforts necessary to sell the art which allows for continued creation.
GG: The most inspiring art-repreneur advise you’ve received from someone recently?
Brian: Never say "that is good enough”. If you say something is good enough it probably means it is not quite what it could be but I am quitting. You will never excel in your art work, or anything else for that matter, if you say “that is good enough."
GG: A little fun-fact that many people may not know about you or your work or your creative process?
Brian: Everyone tells me, “You must have a lot of patience” which I don’t see as being very accurate. I have a lot of persistence but don’t see that as the same as patience. Persistence to see a creative idea to the end is extremely important.
Join us next week for our next installment in the Artist Chat series. We'll be doing a Q&A with Erica Montgomery, raw food photographer.
