GG: The biggest art-repreneur challenge that you face currently?
Erica: Finding and connecting with my target audience. Also, with my moms' passing I inherited her art. So I am in the process of discovering new possibilities.
GG: The least satisfying part of your fabrication process, and why?
Erica: I am not sure that I have one... Maybe I drag my feet sitting down in front of the computer to do the editing part. I have a tough time narrowing down my favorites in the veggie series. I love them all.
GG: A little fun-fact that many people may not know about you or your work or your creative process?
Erica: I have farmers saving veggies for me now to photograph for the project. It is amazing to get messages from them showing me what they have saved for me till I return if I am away... Also this September I was back in Portland for work and the farmers up there remember me too... It's amazing what starting a simple conversation about food lead to...
