Each week we issue a new installment of our Q&A chat with each of our featured Grotto Gallery artists for the "Escape the Madness" exhibit which runs through January 12th.
This is our 14th Installment in the series, and today, we talk with Michelle Startzman, from Phoenix, Arizona.
You can also learn more about Michelle in an earlier installment here: Meet Michelle Startzman.
GG: The biggest art-repreneur challenge that you face currently?
Michelle: The biggest challenge that I face right now is time. Working a full time job and working as an artist can be difficult to juggle, but when I do make time for myself in my studio I feel everything else slip into the background as I concentrate on what I am making.
GG: The least satisfying part of your fabrication process, and why?
Michelle: The least satisfying part of my creative process is when I am doing a commission. Sometimes you just have to do it to make sales, but it’s so much more satisfying for me to create something that is entirely my own vision.
Happy Making! Surround yourself with beauty & art...
