We are excited to share a little Q&A fun with each of our featured Grotto Gallery artists for the "Escape the Madness" exhibit which runs through January 12th.
Each week we will be releasing a new installment - and first up, the amazingly talented and creative metalsmith Susan Rice, from Mesa Arizona.
You can also learn more about Susan in an earlier installment here: Meet Susan Rice.
GG: The biggest art-repreneur challenge that you face currently?
Susan: Marketing and consistency with social media.
GG: The most inspiring art-repreneur advise you’ve received from someone recently?
Susan: Keep it simple. This one statement can make life and business more enjoyable and less overwhelming at times.
GG: A little fun-fact that many people may not know about you or your work or your creative process?
Susan: I absolutely love anything to do with the ocean. My original intention was to concentrate on jewelry that portrayed sea life and then donate portions of the profit to help foundations working to study and improve their conditions. Recently introduced, our Humpback whale necklace is our first piece to share with a cause.
Join us next week for our next installment in the Artist Chat series. We'll be doing a Q&A with Brian Lensink, woodturner.
